Confidence Boost!

Hey guys! So recently I have felt on top of the world. I'm really looking forward to getting back to piano lessons and hopefully hip-hop dancing!
I have really gotten a confidence boost from reading quotes by Audrey Hepburn, and also this special quote helped me out a lot:

"Sing like no-one's listening,
Dance like no-one's watching,
Tomorrow is another day, so make the most of it"

If you're having a problem with confidence, all you need is positivity, a great smile and oodles of self-loving! With confidence I really feel like my voice has improved.

In other news, I got Planet Jedward the album!! OK. Don't go all hateful. Jedward are complete legends. My fave tracks are All The Small Things, Ghostbusters and Jump. I can't wait to go see them on Wednesday!

Sore Throat :o

Hey guys, I don't know if you got my DSi blog, I don't think you did, oh well! XD
So, I've had a bit of a sore throat lately, so I couldn't sing as much, so I'm relying on this piano!
I am OFF for the summer! Yay! It was really upsetting on the last day, I was crying really hard :(
I'm still glad it's summer though. I can tell it'll be amazing :)

Hello :)
So recently, I started to learn piano.
You won't believe how easy it is! The only problem is your hands get a little sore if you're not used to it. But other than that it's awesomee.
I know a little song called Brown Girl In The Ring, and then half of Abba's I Have A Dream.
My teacher says I'm picking it up really quick.
(BTW my singing teacher is also my piano teacher)
In real life, I gave up junk food completely and I'm getting slimmer.
When I first gave them up, I got terrible pains, so it was almost like I needed them. (If you hung around with me you'd notice I used to eat a lot of sweets) But now I'm used to it, just in time for summer :]
While we're on that, I can't wait for summer! I'm off school on Wednesday for the whole summer. I can't wait to wear my awesome clothes. I know, that sounds weird, specifying that little fact.

Oh My Gosh!

Hello! Wow, it's been so long since I posted a blog! I haven't been getting up to much.
I was practising Cry Me Out and Every Time a lot more, and I'm starting to learn piano!
So yeah, not that much heehee :)
I think I should experiment more with different songs, I mean, obviously not Diana Vickers but maybe Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum or CJaye. I can't just decide on one genre without listening to them all. (Not rock though, last time I heard good hard metal was when RATM showed their ugly faces)
As for normal life, I was meant to have friends over, but neither of them answered their phones. But I'm having one over tomorrow, which is good.
Oh Gosh, and I got my hair cut too! It's much shorter, in a little bob. (Well, not little, to my shoulders)

Hey [=
So I went to singing class today and sang Cry Me Out for my teacher.
She said Pixie Lott suited me! :O
It's nice hearing that, as Pixie Lott's songs are very powerful.
The only thing she told me, funnily enough, was that high notes tend to fade and crack if you don't put enough power on it.
I'm working on that ;)
I've learned a lot today, actually. I need to keep it in mind though. That's the only problem I'll have!

It has this weird electronic beat to it, which is pretty cool.

Diana Vickers' Album :)

Hey guys!
So, today I got Diana Vickers' album, Songs From The Tainted Cherry Tree.
It's really good :) I really like her voice, she can't just sing, she has a voice that no-one else has.
Anyway, I practised Cry Me Out today.
I think I'm doing pretty good, but what I don't like is how I feel more comfortable when the song is playing to sing.. I would like to just sing with a snap of my fingers and have there be nothing wrong.
Wishes don't come true :(

Hi, sorry, I was going to blog off of my phone but my friends wouldn't let me. ;D
So, I came across a new singer today, but he's a guy.
His name is Pleasure Ellis, and before you think he's a rapper, he's a singer and I like him.
Sure, he wouldn't have the best of voices (he's probably autotuned in some places), but his song Why is good :)
Since I have just come back, I have yet to practise Cry Me Out, and it has to be ready by Thursday :O I'll practise a little over the past few days.
I don't have to practise, I just want to get used to the song, as I've listened to it before, but I've never actually sung it before.

I like the song, but what I like more is Joe McElderry's version

Being honest I think Joe's version is better than GaGa's.

So, as I said yesterday, I was going to pick my song for the fundraiser.
I have decided it will be Cry Me Out by Pixie Lott.
I actually really like the song - It's sang brilliantly by her.
So here's hoping I pull it off, eh?
Oh, and by the way I'll be on holiday for the weekend so I won't be able to blog.
Unless I can blog on my phone.

Janet Jackson?

Hey guys, this is my first blog :)
So, it's going to be all about music, since I'm working hard to showcase my voice =]
So, anyway, today I went to my singing lessons, and I found out I could be getting involved in this community fundraiser, which consists of non-stop singing or acting.
I might give it a go, yeah :)
We worked on a Janet Jackson song called Every Time and I'm thinking of asking my singing teacher if I could choose the second one.
I would rather do pop than theatre, but don't get me wrong, I do like theatre.
Thinking of doing along the lines of Pixie Lott, Ashley Tisdale etc.
But more importantly, singers with strong voices to see if I could pull it off.
I hope I could!
You know, though, I really like Enya's Adiemus. It's a very powerful song and the video is beautiful.
So, I'm working on it.
